We recently stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our beautifully clean and comfortably decorated room while being just a few steps away from Merlewood Country Park, perfect for our walking adventures.

We encountered a few disappointments during our stay. The room was quite small, which was not what we expected. the shower had weak water pressure, making it less enjoyable. These issues really took away from what could have been a wonderful experience.

the cartford inn was da bomb! the room was super comfy and had the coolest decor, like seriously loved the quirky vibe. brekkie was like sooo good, best start to the day. staff were friendly and helpful, made us feel right at home. and the views of the countryside were just wow!

only thing was that the room was a bit too small for our liking and the shower could’ve used a little more water pressure.

The unique character of the rooms provided a comfortable retreat, but improvements in food and service could elevate the experience significantly.

A fitting option for one night in Great Eccleston with best value. Enjoyed a superb meal with attentive service from the young waiters. Make sure to visit on a busy occasion for a vibrant atmosphere.
